Patricia A. Schaeffer, Executive Director
Ms. Schaeffer is the Vice President-Regulatory Affairs for a national human resources risk management consulting firm. She has written extensively and spoken frequently on affirmative action and workplace discrimination issues before U.S. and European audiences. Ms. Schaeffer is also a former vice president with an international human resources management consulting firm, where she was the practice leader of their Diversity/EEO/Employment Law compliance group in the U.S. and U.K. She was previously responsible for companywide regulatory compliance with The Boeing Company and in-house labor and employment counsel with the McDonnell Douglas Corporation. Ms. Schaeffer has a J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law and a M.A. degree from The Peter F. Drucker Graduate School at Claremont Graduate University. She also holds a B.S. in Social Sciences from Bowling Green State University.
David B. Cohen, Senior Vice President
Mr. Cohen is the founder and president of a national human resources risk management consulting firm based in Washington DC. A recognized EEO and affirmative action compliance expert, Mr. Cohen speaks frequently before senior corporate leaders at Fortune 500 companies, regional and national ILG conferences and OFCCP events, and industry webinars. He also trains corporate managers in several compliance areas, including systemic compensation discrimination analyses and compliance with Internet applicant recordkeeping requirements. Mr. Cohen is the co-author of “Understanding Statistics: A Guide for I/O Psychologists and Human Resource Professionals.” He is also Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Human Resources. Mr. Cohen has a M.A. degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Radford University and B.A. degree in Psychology from West Virginia University.
Harold M. Busch, Vice President
Mr. Busch is the Vice President-Government Relations with a national human resources risk management consulting firm where he works closely with senior corporate leaders on preparing companies for OFCCP compliance audits and on conducting comprehensive internal self-audits. He also lectures on EEO law at Cornell University’s New York State School of Industrial and Labor Relations in New York City. For nearly ten years prior to his retirement from senior government service, Mr. Busch was the Director of the Division of Program Operations with the OFCCP’s national office in Washington, D.C. He also served in several other executive positions within the agency, including the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for the OFCCP in which he was responsible for nationwide enforcement operations, and the Acting Regional Director of OFCCP’s Northeast Region. Mr. Busch has an Ed.M. degree from the Rutgers University Graduate School of Education in New Jersey, where he also received his B.A. degree.
Michael G. Aamodt, Ph.D., Vice President
Dr. Aamodt is the Vice President-Statistical Analytical Services with a national human resources risk management consulting firm where he works with employers in the areas of employee selection and test validation and statistical analysis. He is also a professor of Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Radford University in Virginia where he teaches courses in employee selection, psychology of work behavior, job analysis, employee training and development, and organizational and forensic psychology. Dr. Aamodt is an industrial psychologist who has co-authored several books and publications including: “Applied Industrial/Organizational Psychology,” “Human Relations in Business,” and “Understanding Statistics: A Guide for I/O Psychologists and Human Resource Professionals.” Dr. Aamodt is the associate editor for the Assessment Council News, the associate editor for the Journal of Police and Criminal Psychology, and the editor of Applied H.R.M. Research. Dr. Aamodt has a Ph.D. and M.A. degree in Psychology from the University of Arkansas. He received his B.A. degree in Psychology from Pepperdine University.
